Shipping and Returns

 
By law, you must be 21 years of age or older to purchase and receive wine, and an adult's signature (also 21 years or older) is required for all deliveries of wine.
 
In addition to servicing Virginia and Washington DC, we ship on your behalf to the following states:
Shipping states
For all these states, products are considered to be sold in Virginia, and title passes to the buyer in Virginia.
 
We want your wine to arrive in pristine condition. As such, we reserve the right to hold shipments due to extreme weather. Temperatures over 75 and less than 40 degrees may delay our expected fulfillment date. Please let us know if you have a required ship date and we'll make the appropriate recommendation.
 
UnwinedOnline.com makes no representation as to the legal rights of the buyer to ship or import wines and the buyer is solely responsible for shipment. By placing an order with us for shipment to any of these other states, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. Virginia taxes of 6% shall be collected for all such orders.  
 
Shipping and Processing:
These shipping-processing charges, and the appropriate sales tax are added to your order.  Below is a table with our shipping charges to Virginia and Washington DC (higher rates may apply for shipments beyond this region):

* Express Shipping is available on Wine Gifts and Wine Shop purchases. It is not offered for Wine Club collections and deliveries to some states. See options at checkout.

* We cannot ship to P.O. boxes. We are restricted by law from shipping into Maryland or Texas.

Return Policy:

Whether you’re placing an order, requesting a replacement or making an inquiry, you can count on us for friendly, knowledgeable assistance. All returns must be made in-store at our King Street location. Store credit will be issued for damaged product. The statistic is approximately 1 in 12 bottles will suffer from cork taint or other undesirable wine faults, and we're committed to replacing your bad bottles.
