The Early Mountain 2020 Rosé has arrived! As always this is a merlot heavy blend, with a mix of fruit from their rolling hills site around the winery and their Quaker Run site, 800-1000 feet elevation, in the Blue Ridge. 76% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 4.5% Syrah, 4.5% Malbec, 3% Petit Verdot.
Early Mountain is a well-respected winery in Madison, Virginia owned by Steve and Jean Case, champions of Virginia's viticultural history, present, and future. Their winemaker Ben Jordan is a Virginia native who also owns Midland Winery with his brother Tim where they make wine from his family’s Mount Airy Vineyard.
